Many different items of command, control and safety equipment are in use at DB Netz. Guaranteeing a high level of availability of these systems calls for their components to be serviced and overhauled at regular intervals. In this process, reconditioned components are also frequently fitted. For both economic and ecological reasons, the process of recycling materials from command, control and safety equipment is of great importance.%In der Leit- und Sicherungstechnik der DB Netz AG sind eine Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen Bauformen in Betrieb. Um eine hohe Verfügbarkeit der Systeme zu garantieren, müssen diese Komponenten in regelmäßigen Abständen gewartet und instand gesetzt werden.
