James Burt has been appointed to the new role of Service Delivery Director at Southern, where he will be responsible for station staff and train crew as well as performance management and revenue protection. Currently Customer Service Director at First Great Western, he is due to join the new Southern executive team (right) shortly after the start of the replacement South Central franchise on September 20 (RB1346 p8).
