Elaine Holt is to step down as Chairman of Directly Operated Railways and East Coast as she has been unable to agree terms with DfT for the extension of her contract which expires at the end of this year. Doug Sutherland is to become non-executive Chairman of DOR and Michael Holden Chairman of East Coast, both on an interim basis pending discussions with DfT on filling these roles permanently. Former Post Office Chairman Sir Mike Hodgkinson has been appointed Chairman of Keolis UK. He will be working alongside Chief Executive Alistair Gordon and UK Rail Director David Franks.
