Michael O'Higgins joined the board of Network Rail on November 21 as a non-executive Director, appointed to represent the public interest in line with NR's governance reforms. He has been Chair of The Pensions Regulator since January 2011 and was Chairman of the Audit Commission from October 2006 until October 2012.rnAlan Price has been appointed Director of Railway Performance at the Office of Rail Regulation. He joins ORR from FirstGroup plc where he has been Rail Division Infrastructure Director, responsible for the infrastructure elements of current and future franchises.
