Philip Rutnatn is due to take up the post of Permanent Secretary at the Department for Transport on April 11. Formerly Director General, Business ft Skills, at the Department for Business, Innovation εt Skills, he succeeds Clare Moriarty who has been Acting Permanent Secretary since Lin Homer left DfT to take up the post of Chief Executive Officer at HM Revenue εt Customs in January (RB1404 p8).
