Catering conversion requires bespoke solution

Work is underway at the Wabtec Rail Scotland plant in Kilmarnock to convert 15 Mk 111 catering cars to standard class vehicles, in order to add seating capacity to First Great Western's 2+7 HST sets under the LTV 48 programme (RB1409 p6). Both variants of catering car have required extensive work, with modifications tailor-made to individual vehicles.
