A new method is suggested for calibration of the 6-port analyzer of microwave networks The analyzer, using DFT of tapped signals, has a set of standard short-circuited loads. The calibration algorithm includes two steps. First, we solve a system of linear equations for some intermediate variables introduced. Second, we calculate the real and imaginary parts of the equivalent complex-valued constants by solving a linear or nonlinear (with zero initial approximations) system of equations. Simulation of the calibration procedure confirmed the efficiency of the calibration algorithm.
