In April, the RSGB's mobile amateur radio demonstration vehicle spent a day at the Bishop Wilson Primary School in Chelmsley Wood where it was well received by all the pupils and teachers. The younger children showed a flair for Morse that was quite astounding, while the older ones - already familiar with mobile phone text messaging -were surprised to find that they had not invented codes and abbreviations!
