2nd International Model Circus

I first visited this venue in 1989 and was amazed at that time of the size of the 'large' models being flown. A model Lancaster with four .61 Super Tigre engines was big at that time, and they grew even bigger every time I revisited, and that was annually for around 12 years. During this time the models grew in not only size, but also in numbers, seeing many of Europe's largest flying giants. Engine capacities increased too, and from the standard .61 two-stroke came a plethora of Zenoah, King and 3W petrol engines powering 20 foot span (or more) models with multi-cylinder and multi-engine set-ups.
