International Model Circus

Traplet Publications specialises in the world of radio-controlled aircraft and has just released a DVD of the 2nd International Model Circus staged at Le Ferte Alais, near Paris, onrnJune 26-28. One of the highlights of this event was the flying of an 80-per cent Bristol M.1C Monoplane, which with a span of 22ft 9in (7m) was bigger than some of the ultra-lights on the airfield! As well as the M.1C 'Bullet', a DHC Beaver (also featured on the DVD's cover) had to be seen to be believed. A three-man ground-handling team being required -just like the real thing!
