If you assemble your next plane with all these tricks applied you will be able to save 10 or even more grams of your plane's weight. Believe me, 10 grams may not sound a big saving but it will definitely be noticeable during flight. I am an active indoor pilot and during eight years of flying I have built several hundred foamies. Each of them was just a touch better than the previous one. Now my big F3P competition planes come under the 100 g mark (as I remember, my first indoor plane weighted about 280 g).
