WESTON FIGHTER MEET

When I think of Weston-super-Mare I usually think of a vast open beach created by the mighty River Severn's huge tidal range and a very fancy new pier. Whilst if you travel there to 'see the sea', as it were, it can often mean you need a pair of binoculars, but it does create plenty of room for activities like kite flying, walking the dog, making sand castles and yes, there's no denying it, those legendary donkey rides! For the weekend of 28th/29th September though there was a different form of entertainment on offer - the 'Weston Fighter Meet' organised by Chris Willis of Willis Warbirds fame.
