Liam O'Mahoney, who, as previously announced, will step down as group chief executive of CRH plc on 31 December 2008, has accepted an invitation to continue as a member of the board in a nonexecutive capacity. Case Construction Equipment have appointed Israel Celli as vice-president sales and marketing to lead the European region, reporting directly to chief executive officer and president Jim McCullough. Mr Celli rejoins Case after eight years with JLG Industries. Olof Persson, former president of Volvo Aero, has replaced Tony Helsham as president of Volvo Construction Equipment. Mr Helsham will remain in the Volvo Group Executive Committee, with responsibility for supporting the growth of'soft' products within the Group.
