Kolberg-Pioneer add optional pre-screen to FT4250 impact crusher

South Dakota-based Kolberg-Pioneer Inc (KPI) have launched a revised version of their FT4250 mobile impact crusher, which now features an optional two-deck pre-screen (4ft x 7ft). The double-deck pre-screen allows aggregate producers to scalp feed, crush materials and post-screen all in one unit. According to KPI, by pre-screening the feed; users can maximize their scalping ability and minimize the amount of undersized material passing through the chamber, thereby reducing wear costs and increasing the amount of final product by 30%.
