摘要

A novel type of dimensional-compensating air gauging circuits has been introduced. The steady-state analyses of compensating air gauging in comparison with back-pressure air gauging is presented. The static character- istics of back-pressure, differential, and compensating air gauges were calculated using Mathcad for the open single- jet-type tooling. The comparison of these characteristics shows that the compensating differential air gauge has the best steady-state performance. This air gauge is the most suitable for process control data collection, in-process gauging, and 100/100 parts inspection.
