Indian authorities investigating potential paper price fixing

The Competition Commission of India (CCI), the country's anti-trust authority, has ordered an investigation of a possible cartel among Indian paper producers. In response to a complaint filed by the Sivakasi Master Printers'Association (SM-PA), the cartel office will investigate whether the paper companies colluded in concerted price increases for printing and writing paper as well as for other paper grades.
