Austria: pulp mills to consume more woodchips from stock, partly implement price cuts for Q2 deliveries

Over the next few weeks, Austrian pulp mills want to make greater use of their existing stocks of woodchips. This applies to the mills' stocks that are still at a high level in early April, as well as to the four external woodchip storage depots that were set up during the course of winter in order to cushion the high supply of woodchips arising from high level of cutting activity in the central European sawmilling industry.
