Strettons raised £11.3m at its online July auction, selling 90% of its 40-lot commercial and residential catalogue. The star lot at the 14 July sale was a vacant house in Stamford Hill, north London, which was on the market for the first time since the Second World War. The three-storey, three-bedroom home had a guide price in excess of £1.1m and sold for £1.36m. In east London, the freehold of a ground-floor shop and three self-contained flats in Leytonstone, guided at £700,000, sold for £830,000. The property generates an annual rental income of £67,000 and its sale price reflected a net initial yield of 7.65% Two houses in llford went under the hammer. One, on Betchworth Road, had a guide price in excess of £340,000 and sold for £390,000, while the other, an end-of-terrace property on Baron Gardens, was guided at £350,000 and sold for £462,000.
