BIM implementation can happen on various levels depending on project needs and the pace of accommodating to new technology. The benefits are already proven in different parts of the world including Europe and also the Swiss examples are building up rapidly. BIM implementation doesn't mean that the existing workflows have to be changed from one day to another, rather by identifying the greatest challenges of a certain workflow, the matching information modeling solution can easily be mapped. The successes of the first step will bring the natural appetite for utilizing more use cases and to become BIM addicts. One also should not wait for "the right project", or for "the next release" of a software application. As the article described, each and every project can benefit from the use of these approaches and because we are not talking about "a" software, but rather a different culture, process and methodology, software applications can not be the cause of delay.
