Geek speak

I am a keen reader of Professional Manager but have been disappointed with the lack of coverage of the ITIL Infrastructure Library (ITIL), which has benefited organisations by helping integrate IT and the business it supports. Colin Marrs' otherwise excellent article "It's all geek to me" raises the questions to which ITIL provides the answers - yet his piece fails to mention ITIL at all. While the argument for adopting ITIL has largely been won in the IT profession, most other areas of management seem unaware of this framework.
