The controversy over learning styles is as old as the styles themselves. Experts differ on which models are the most accurate - or even if such styles really exist at all. Some studies have debunked the idea that human brains are in some way hardwired to learn differently to each other. What is probably true is that students often have preferences for the way they are taught - and, as such, are more enthusiastic about learning if taught in this way.
