Among issues that CPSC is interested in are:rn1. The benefits/drawbacks of component testing versus finished product testing.rn2. When and why CPSC should allow component testing.rn3. When and why suppliers should be allowed to handle tests of parts and raw materials.rn4. Situations that could result in noncompliant products made from compliant parts.rn5. How use and control of subcontractors might effect component testing.rn6. What inventory control processes would be needed for component testing.
