Finally, someone proves that the little ol' 318 is capable of producing sig-nificant power. (See "Cheap And Mean 318," October 2008. ) It irks me looking on eBay at perfectly good matching-numbers 318 cars switched to a 440 or 340. Don't get me wrong, I would much rather have a matching-numbers original 440 Six-Pack 'Cuda, but not one that has been cloned. Maybe this will stop what I call madness, and convince some that maybe they should leave that good ol' 318 in their car. Now, how about show-ing what that other engineering marvel created by Mopar can do: the you-can't-kill-it slant six. Thanks again, I'm definite-ly renewing my subscription now.
