Jim Meyer Racing Products has created a bolt-in IFS for early Mustangs that also fits many Ford and Mercury models from 1960 to 1977. Meyer claims the handling, stopping, and steering improvement in this IFS is no comparison over the old steering box, tower suspension, and all that linkage.
