摘要

The interaction and thermal behavior of the poly(4-vinylpyridine-co-divmylbenzene)―Cu(Ⅱ) complex were studied using infrared (IR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The effect of pyridine ring―Cu~(2+) interaction on the motion and dipole moments of the PVP―DVB―Cu(Ⅱ) complexes was estimated through the FTIR difference and deconvo-luted spectra. The pyridine ring motion decreased with increasing Cu~(2+) ions content, whereas the dipole moments of the in-plane and out-of-plane ring C―H bending increased. The glass transition temperature (T_g) value of the PVP―DVB―Cu(Ⅱ) complex was higher than that of the PVP―DVB copolymer, and increased with increasing Cu~(2+) ions content. The apparent activation energy (E_a) of the random scission within the PVP polymer chain in complex under air (~187 kJ/mol) was higher than that in copolymer (120 kJ/mol). However, the value of E_a for the thermo-oxidative degradation (>400℃) decreased with increasing Cu~(2+) ions content.
