Pay Review Body report recommends across the board 1 % pay increase

The pay review body report came out in March, and recommended an across the board 1% pay increase to all Agenda for Change spine points. It also recommended a 1% increase in the High Cost Area Supplement. In response to the report, Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health, said 'The Government is adopting an approach by which all staff will receive at least an additional 1% of their basic pay next year. All staff who are not eligible to receive incremental pay will be given a 1% non-consolidated payment in 2014/15. Other staff will receive an increase of at least 1% through incremental progression.
