Construction is just getting under way on the 750-mile Overland Pass Pipeline that originates in Opal, WY and terminates in Conway, KS. Overland Pass Pipeline, constructing the project, is a joint venture of Oneok (99%) and Williams (1%). The project calls for 300 miles of construction in Wyoming, 125 miles in Colorado and 325 miles in Kansas. The pipeline, designed to transport 150,000 bpd of natural gas liquids (NGLs) has a design operating capacity of 1,440 psi. The $433 million project calls for two new pump stations in Wyoming and one in Kansas.rnTo expedite the project, a decision was made to divide construction into five separate spread - two in Wyoming, one in Colorado and two in Kansas.
