Century Indemnity Company moved on June 3 in federal court for the District of New Jersey to reopen the Chapter 7 case of Fifth Dimension Inc. in order to avoid joint and several liability with respect to a settlement in the case of two contaminated sites in Somerset County.rnFifth Dimension has alleged that several of its insurers, including Century, as successor to CCI Insurance Company, as successor to the Insurance Company of North America, issued insurance policies to Fifth Dimension that provide insurance coverage with respect to the claims asserted in the Superfund action.
