Judge grants insurer's motion to reopen bankruptcy for settlement to avoid joint and several liability

U.S. Judge Anne E. Thompson of the District of New Jersey granted on July 14 the motion of Century Indemnity Company to reopen the Chapter 7 case of Fifth Dimension Inc. in order to avoid joint and several liability with respect to settlement in the case of two contaminated sites in Somerset County, New Jersey.
