OSHA Joins Forces With Nebraska Educators

OSHA and the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) have formed two alliances to provide occupational safety and health education to students. The arrangements are with NDE's Industrial, Manufacturing, and Engineering Systems Career Systems, and with SkillsUSA Nebraska. Both strive to improve skills and safety for younger workers.rnThe alliance with NDE career systems will provide educators and students with instructional materials, guidance, and access to training resources. Outreach and communication are the focus of the accord with SkillsUSA Nebraska. The goal is to build expertise in hazard recognition and prevention, and improve ways to communicate the information to educators, employers, and young workers.
