Call for safety education leadership

New research from the Child Safety Education Coalition (CSEC) has called on schools to clarify their policies on safety education and to spell out the support they will give staff in the rare event that something does go wrong during practical activities. The coalition, hosted by RoSPA, works to reduce unintended injury to children and young people through practical safety education. It believes that children develop valuable life skills for keeping themselves and others safe when they have practical opportunities to learn about risk and how to cope with it.
