In Garret v Lidl Ltd, the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) held that: relocation of an employee to a different store could amount to a reasonable adjustment under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA); and that the employer was not required to make adjustments to the employee's existing place of work where those adjustments could more easily be accommodated at a different location.
