TUC GUIDANCE ON MENOPAUSE

The TUC has issued new guidance on how employers and trade union representatives can work together to support women through the menopause at work1.The menopause is an important occupational health issue for the 3.5 million women in work over the age of 50, says the TUC. It urges employers to recognise that women of menopausal age may need extra consideration as the menopause can affect how a woman does her work, as well as her relationship with colleagues.
