The Republican takeover of the House of Representatives resulted in very little change atop the key subcommittees with jurisdiction over the National Nuclear Security Administration. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-N.J.) has retained his spot as the top Republican on the powerful House Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee, committee chairman Hal Rogers (R-Ky.) said late last week, while Rep. Michael Turner (R-Ohio) was named the chairman of the House Armed Services Strategic Forces Subcommittee after serving as the ranking member of the panel for the last two years.
