Henry B. "Brew" Barron has joined Constellation Energy as president, chief executive officer, and chief nuclear officer for Constellation Energy Nuclear Group (CENG). Barron, who retired as Duke Energy's CEO at the end of March (AW, Mar. 2008, p. 105), has assumed the responsibilities of Mike Heffley, who was to retire on May 1. Michael J. Wallace, ANS member since 1972, has been named vice chairman of Constellation Energy. He has been serving as executive vice president of Constellation Energy and president and CEO of CENG, and will transfer those duties to Barron in several months. Wallace will continue to serve as chairman of UniStar Nuclear Energy, a joint venture of Constellation Energy and EDF Group, of France.
