Ali Azad, ANS member since 2007, has been named senior vice president and chief business development officer for the Babcock & Wilcox Company. Azad was most recently president and chief executive officer of Generation mPower LLC, B&W's small modular reactor organization, and in his new role he will remain involved in the company's SMR initiatives.
