How did you end up in nuclear? I did a placement year during my BSc at Wylfa nuclear power station on Anglesey. This was a huge culture shock as I had never worked in such a professional and driven environment before. This level of excellence quickly rubbed off and I soon found I was throwing myself in at the deep end by taking every opportunity and responsibility I could. Although I was only a placement student, the station chemist gave me responsibilities that my predecessor was not allowed, this gave me a considerable amount of pride in my work.
