I took classes with Dr. Nicolas Kanellos in the 1980s, and I've had the privilege of purchasing and teaching from Arte Publico and Pinata Books publications. In his classes, teaching, and publishing projects, Dr. Kanellos has tirelessly supported and circulated Latino traditions in all forms-with special emphasis on Mexican-American traditions.
