Game on: small cells in a stadium environment

The 2012 Olympics was a first for the UK in many ways. Apart from creating more jobs and driving tourists towards the less affluent areas of East London, the global sporting event gave vendors and operators alike the opportunity to come together and test out new technologies in broadcasting, social media, live video streaming, Wi-Fi and small cells. It also presented a never-before-seen scenario where a number of operators willingly worked together to ensure a superior customer experience while in the stadium.
