Wandsworth and Richmond LBCs’chief executive Paul Martin haswithdrawn his resignation, tendered at thestart of this month, to stay at the authorityand help deal with the coronavirus crisis.Mr Martin told The MJ: ‘In the lightof the current crisis I have agreed withmy two leaders that I withdraw myresignation.’He joined Wandsworth in 2010 andsince 2016 has also been chief executiveof Richmond upon Thames LBC.He has held a variety of posts in his20-year local government career, acrossGreater Manchester, the Midlands, EastAnglia and London, and was previouslythe chief executive of Sutton LBC.
