Richard Lawrence has been appointed the new head of economic development and planning at Stafford BC. He has 20 years' experience in the private and public sector and will succeed Ted Manders, who has retired. Mr Lawrence has joined the authority from a similar role at Northampton BC. He said: 'This is a very exciting time to be coming to Stafford. 'Just look at the huge regeneration that is taking place and the boost to the economy that it is bringing.
