Good conversations, ones that really matter and have a purpose, with a circle of people you trust, can bring immense learning and effective outcomes. This is especially true if you are perhaps the only person doing your job in your organisation, you are geographically dispersed from other people you can talk to about your work or you are in a new role where you need to gain knowledge and skills quickly. Knowledge Hub networks enable these kinds of conversations for people working in public service across the country. For example in Scotland, the Improvement Service manages the Scottish Public Services Network, where colleagues from the public and private sectors can come together to share best practice and learn from each other.
