We have developed many an employer value proposition (EVP) over the years, for both public and private sector clients. The public sector - including central and local government, and uniform services - often require an EVP approach but not necessarily an EVP. Controversial, I know, but stay with me. Where central government has an appetite for a fuller EVP, their local compatriots often require a more specific version. For example, a majority of councils request EVPs for social care roles - an important function that suffers a nationwide recruitment problem (which is understandable).
