IL Recycling Companies Announce Merger

Decatur, Illinois based Midwest Fiber Recycling (MFR) said it has joined forces with Community Resources Inc., an Urbana, Illinois based recycling company, reported WAND, a TV news affiliate in Decatur. MFR says it believes the merger will help build "green jobs" and expand recycling efforts in both cities, while at the same time help businesses make sure they send less items to landfills, according to the news service.
