Pratt Opens New MRF In Atlanta

Late last month, Pratt Industries opened its newest Material Recovery Facility (MRF) on the western side of Atlanta, Georgia, to better service the recycling needs of metro-Atlanta, as well as the northwest and southwest metropolitan areas. With this facility, Pratt Industries has a total of 16 recycling plants located across the U.S. The new facility replaces an older facility in East Point, Georgia, which Pratt Industries has outgrown over the years and necessitated a move to a larger 80,000 square-foot facility.The plant is set up to process both residential and commercial single-stream recyclables, as well as source-separated and baled materials. These include paper, plastics #l-#7, tin cans and aluminum.
