Component based product line development of avionics software

摘要

Just as hardware integrated circuits, or components, can be used to inexpensively manufacture a product line of related hardware systems, reusable software components can be used to create software systems. This is accomplished by developing a common framework for a product line of related software systems that forms the component operating environment. A development architecture is presented based on our work using Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques to create reusable software components that combine with aircraft specific customization to form an avionics software system.
