Commentary on 'Construct Maps as a Foundation for Standard Setting'

These commentators agree with Wyse (this issue) that the use of construct mapping is a very helpful component of a comprehensive standard-setting process, regardless of the standard-setting model. Despite many decades of work by a large number of capable researchers, there remain several fundamental problems associated with standard setting. We commented on some of those problems and suggested a method for ordering items for those standard-setting approaches that require this activity.
