摘要

A highly sensitive solid-state acetone sensor based on lead sulfide nanosheets was proposed and fabricated. It showed an excellent response to detecting acetone concentration in the range of 1-20 ppm. The highest response of 24.16% was reached for 1 ppm acetone concentration at room temperature (25 °C). The sensor's response to some other gasses was studied and a very good selectivity was observed. Therefore, the sensor has the benefit of high selectivity at room temperature detection and it is highly sensitive. The sensor exhibited promising behavior toward acetone sensing and it can be considered as a very good candidate to be used in human breath analysis devices for non-invasive diagnosis of diabetes.
