Alewijnse Marine Systems presents

The SOLAS VI19-1 Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) regulations came into force in January 2008 and obliges ship operators to provide information (on identity, positioning and time) to the Flagstate after december 2008. Alewijnse Marine Systems offers the Pole Star LRIT test for the Inmarsat C equipment. Successful testing means the vessel's equipment has the required performance standards for LRIT. Alewijnse Marine Systems also presents the Polestar fleetmanagement system, as many ship operators feel the need to receive the same information as the Flagstate. This system enables ship operators to manage their fleet and receive all information on e.g. position, time, speed and weather immediately and in real time via a web-based monitoring system.
