Major survey project for Fugro

A major hydrographic survey project has been awarded to Fugro, a research centre that collects and interpreted data from the surface and underlying layers of the earth and gives advice and support, which is located in Leidschendam in the Netherlands. The survey will be done in the Middle East region, with the aid of a combination of vessels and aircraft and is expected to take 14 months to complete. It is one of the larges commercial hydrographic survey projects to combine both airborne and vessel techniques ever undertaken, with an estimated value in excess of $ 80 million.
